Tips for Staying Regular While on Vacation

Whoop whoop! Summer is here, and for many of us that means exploring new horizons and indulging in culinary adventures! To help keep your tummy happy & your GI tract movin' and groovin' while on vacation, here are four of my favorite tips:

1. ️ Hydrate like a pro WITH electrolytes.

Stay hydrated with my favorite electrolytes: LMNT or Needed. These little packets of goodness aren’t just tasty—they’re packed with minerals that are crucial for staying hydrated, energized, boost immune health & support smooth moves.

2. Don't skip the veggies!

Fiber is your best bud for staying regular, and veggies are the ultimate source. Swap out buns and tortillas for a bed of greens or lettuce wraps. This not only cuts out pro-inflammatory gluten (a major culprit for gut issues) but also helps to ensure you're getting fiber to help keep your digestive system running smoothly.

3. Pop digestive enzymes & probiotics w/ meals.

Indulging in foods that aren't a usual part of your diet can be fun, but it can also throw off your digestive system. A great solution is to take digestive enzymes and probiotics with meals in order to support good digestion and keep your gut flora happy. They are great for protecting you from travel bugs too.

4.  Take Tri-Magnesium before bed.

2 capsules of Tri-Magnesium at bedtime every night is my favorite for supporting relaxation, restful sleep AND regular BMs. It's a MUST-HAVE while traveling if you're prone to constipation.

Here’s to savoring every bite, every sip, and every moment of your vacation without any digestive dilemmas.

Bon voyage and bon appétit!
